Cover Them is designed to keep your personal prayer life on your device. This policy describes the native Cover Them app. Website hosting and any messages you choose to send us are described separately below.

Your people and prayers

Names, relationships, chosen photos, prayer requests, answered prayers, generated prayers and prayer history are stored locally on your device. Cover Them does not operate a server that receives this information. There is no Cover Them account, public prayer feed, advertising SDK or third-party tracking analytics in the app.

On-device writing

On supported devices, Apple's on-device language model can prepare a prayer using the context you enter. The app does not send these details to a remote writing service. Prepared prompts remain available when the on-device model is unavailable. You can turn tailored writing off in Settings.

Photos and reminders

You choose individual photos through Apple's photo picker. We do not request access to your entire photo library or contacts. Optional alarms and notifications are scheduled through Apple's operating system with your permission. Reminders use a general prayer message without names or request details.

Apple purchases

Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions. The app checks Apple-verified subscription status on your device to enable membership. We do not receive your card details. Apple may provide sales, financial and app-performance reports under its own policies and your sharing settings.

Backups and your choices

You can edit your saved information, archive a person and export a backup. Exported files may contain sensitive prayer information, so choose a safe location and recipient. Cover Them does not provide automatic cloud sync. Apple's device backups and the storage service you choose may include your app data or exported files according to your settings. Deleting the app removes its local records; any device backups or exported copies must be managed separately. Cancelling membership does not delete your history.

Website and support

The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes connection information needed to deliver and secure the site. The redesigned site does not add advertising trackers. If you contact support, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your request. Please avoid sending private prayer details, photos, payment details or passwords.
